So here I am in London! This is very exciting.
But I have a question and it's going to sound retarded but here goes.
I did not bring a plug adaptor, or buy one, because my friend Sophia said she had scads of adaptors and I could just borrow one of hers (since the only thing I need to charge at all is my computer).
But then we get here and find that while my computer has a three-pronged American plug end, all of Sophia's adaptors are made to adapt only two-pronged American plugs. Mine fits in, but with that tricky third prong left hanging out.
I would normally not even attempt anything with this configuration, but it's latish Saturday night and I have the suspicion that the earliest I'm going to get a three-to-three prong adaptor is going to be Monday (if then, because my schedule is pretty booked).
So, for those of you who have travelled in the UK, is there any way I can make this configuration work? Otherwise I will be remarkably silent for my first few days here in London.
